Great Horn - Poor Trigger

Has a great tone and plays well in all registers. My only gripe is a poorly designed slide trigger. Very difficult to use. Requires way too much travel and you must wrap your finger around the slide to get it down far enough. I've had to add a wooden spacer on it to make it useable. Otherwise nothing to complain about.

'"Leaky slides and valves." Thats the first thing I thought as was first testing this Flugel. I was sure it have questionable intonation.... but it doesn't! It plays really well! The tone isn't as dark as a Kanstal 1525, but I think it is as darker than the Bobby shew Yamaha (though the Yamaha's easier to get around on). I decided to purchase this horn. I wanted a Kanstal, or Taylor but alas... I don't have that kind of cash. I was very skeptical about his horn but it proved me wrong. Its really pretty good. Buy this horn if you can't afford the Kanstal,or Taylor. Also consider the Shew horn, though may be even better depending on the player.

I have the 1FR-24GP and it´s simply the best flugel.It has a really beautifull look. I´m very proud about my horn. It´s excellent!!
