I tried this bass out recently and I really like it. It is really easy to play, it's light, the body is really nice, and the neck is so solid. The sound blew me away, I tried out American P basses and American jazzes and in my opinion this bass blew them away. It's so versatile, you have a P bass and jazz bass in one. As soon as I started playing it made me want it so much. I highly recommend it. I'm going to purchase one ASAP.

I lucked up on this black beauty while visiting Goldsboro, NC. I was considering an American made Fender Jazz Bass. After playing this one, I can honestly say there is too much hype about the "American-made" label! This bass is the finest Fender has made available in my opinion. The sound is unbelievable, and it is so incredibly easy to play - no stress on the wrist or fingers. Fast fingering is a breeze with the Aerodyne J-Bass and with its irresistible good looks I just had to name it "Mr. Knight".

It has great tone, because it uses both single and split coil pickups. The finish w/ cream edges makes it look like a classic. The neck is thin and smooth. There is absolutely nothing wrong w/ this bass. I recommend it for everyone!

This bass is really great with the plain fretboard and no pickguard. The neck plays great.the p-j pickups are very versatile. I wish the were active though, but they still sound fantastic. the hardware is smoke chrome and very cool. This is one of the best looking basses out there. fender needs to make a hard case that fits this one because the shape is a little different.Overall you just can't go wrong with a Fender bass but this one is such a great design and great to look at as well. I have had mine almost two years and still love it. I say buy it you will love it.

A truly awesome bass! Plays incredible right out of the box. Very light and comfortable to play. After bass shopping for the better part of a year and trying out several different basses this is a great pick! My only compliant is for the price it should come with a case or at least a gig bag. Other than that you won't be dissapointed!
