European fully carved violin is set-up in the US according to our exacting specifications. Fully carved and graduated violin is made from seasoned Carpathian spruce top and seasoned Carpathian maple back and side. Features inlaid purfling, all ebony fittings, Super-Sensitive strings, four Wittner tuners and figured maple bridge. Shaped case with backpack straps and wood with horsehair bow complete this exceptional beginner's outfit. Made in Romania.

Outstanding Student Violin

We bought this violin for my 39 year old wife; she had a nice student violin that her parents purchased in the Czech Republic in the late 70's (Czech made). Her childhood violin was falling apart. Her teacher said that the fit, finish, action and tone on this Violin is as nice as she has seen on any violin priced under $400.00. I own 7 Martin guitars. I'm not a violin player; but I think the construction is very nice, and the sound is very nice. My wife has enjoyed practicing with it very much. It was a great family investment.

I bought this violin for my 8 year old daughter. She blows hot and cold on learning so we wanted to avoid never ending rental fees or a high instrument price in case she drops it completely. At the same time we didn't want an instrument that was so poorly made that she would be discouraged. I ordered the violin late on Sunday night 12/18 and it was here on 12/21. My daughter was excited to see it and is now all gung ho about lessons again. The tone is at least as good as the rental she used to have. As a way of encouraging her to stick with it I asked her to teach me (mister tone deaf). At this price I can get one of my own. It comes in a very nice case too, which is an added bonus. I recommend this outfit for your beginner.

After many months of pondering and investigating potential violins to purchase, I finally chose the Florea Persoana Violin Outfit. The instrument is beautiful right out of the case. Once I set it up and tuned her I was very pleased with the rich tones is produced. This is an instrument which will provide many years of musical pleasure. Will not displease beginning student with toy like tones which many violins of lesser quality produce. This is a five star purchase.

This is my first violin and it plays like a beauty. I bought this violin because I was on a budget and this seemed reasonable. When I received it, it blew me away!!! This strings have a nice resonant tone!!! The bow is fantastic, it is a great economic bow for the price. I recommend this violin to a beginner on a budget!!!
