I was playing a double bass and decided to go to double pedals. I choose the Pearl pedal. I play left-handed, and they had the pedal to me in a few weeks. It’s an awesome pedal. Would highly recommend it. Great response and feel for the money. It’s a deal and a half. Very well built. The only thing I didn’t like was that I didn’t get a bag or hard case for it. Oh well...the price made up for that.

These pedals are awesome – they’re so smooth. What’s great about it is that you can change the cam's - it comes with four different cam's, each has their own ability. You can adjust everything. They’re worth it to go get them. There’s so much quality in it. Pearl really did a great job!!

Good pedal for reasonable price

I owe this pedal for more than a year already. I am pretty satisfied with its quality and response. It really helped me to improve my double-bass playing skills and make my playing technique more precise and fast. I tried to experiment with beaters and spring tensions. I replaced beaters with IronCobra900P ones (with balancer) and played with them – you get even better response, but they dangle a bit, because of their narrower diameter of the rods. I also tried a 2002 series Pearl pedal - it has a bit better response than this one. Overall it is a great hardware, which I'd recommend for medium-level drummers.
