Incredible sounding sub cabinets at this price!!! I bought 2 pv118's for my band to beef up our sound!!!! “Amazing'' is all I can say. Ground moving bass, great punch, you can feel these babies!!!! Comparing these to other cabinets is useless. These are the best value, sound, performance, reliability that I have ever seen!!!! If you are a traveling musician like myself, you have to be able to trust the gear that you use, and the pv118's are very, very, reliable!!!!! Overall, the sound, price, quality, and reliability is why I give the pv 118's my highest recommendation!!!!! Better than cabinets costing twice as much!!!! My best musical purchase to date!!!!!!! Thanks a lot Peavey [I am a fan of the 118's]!!!!!

I still find it hard to believe that I can get an 18" Peavey for this price. You guys that are buying these cheap brand speakers need your head examined when Peavey puts out this quality at this price. If you can't afford this, then just hang it up. You'll be spending more when your speaker goes up in smoke, anyways.
This sub really pounds, and my spec sheet says "Max SPL 118db", but I don't care because I know what it sounds like.
I have great-sounding Yamaha 15" Clubs, and didn't think I really needed subs, but man, once you add these to your sound, you'll never want to play without them.

I own two of these subs, and I couldn't be happier with them. They put out that punchy bass response that I was after. These cabs are a fantastic addition to 2 way main speakers. They will give you the depth and the db force to fill a large hall with sound.
