Well, I have had this one for about a year or so, I must admit I`ve had very much pleasure playing it until now. When I got it I was blown away, but now I am looking for something bigger. It is a perfect amp for most kinds of music. The rectifier and the acoustic modulation are the ones I like the best, r-fier because it was the heaviest and the acoustic because it is so warm in the tone. The effects are quite limited in settings, but I hardly use them. This amp is great for practicing and jamming at home, probably good for recording too. I am not so sure about live and loud playing, it gets LOUD but looses a bit sound quality. Beginners will love this one because it offers them so much for the money and so many types of headbanging (and not headbanging) sounds that they have some basics from the field for not so many bucks before they buy something more specific and more expensive. Non of the modulations are bad, they are just for different kinds of music. But this is not the heaviest. These days I use a distortion pedal and it gives me loads of more gain than the amp on the rectifier setting with gain on full. The clean channel is very good, many wonders about the "bright" button, what it is supposed to do. Well folks get a distortion pedal, hook it up on the clean channel and switch between bright and not bright. You will hear the difference.overall a great sounding amp to a low cost!!!!

This amp kicks on so many levels, the effects on it work great, and it gets really loud. The only 2 very small problems are that the tremolo effect isn't very powerful, and it cant reach a low volume for playing quietly.

I just bought this amp , and it's awesome. It has 9 DIFFERENT TYPES OF DISTORTION.It goes from a bluesy sound to heavy full-metal blood boiler sound , a great variety that will fill anyone's needs. Also the effects are pretty good, you have flanger , phaser , chorus , and tremolo , and you can mix this with the reverb or the delay. Another great feature is that if you need to record anything , it has an special output for that. I insist , the distortion !!! really good and powerful

This amp simply kicks. The tone on this amp is just incredible. The JC Clean is very, very nice. The acoustic is ok and pretty much all the other channels like Brit Combo etc. are pretty good. Where this amp kicks major butt is when you get to the metal channel, which is pretty awesome. Just when you think it could not get any better, you switch it to Rectifier and get blown away. Massive dose of distortion, but nice clean distortion in the sense that it is not muddy and you can hear every single note you play distinctively even though the distortion. The effects are very, very good although you cannot tweak them much. Reverb is more than decent too. My only beef with this amp is that you need to buy three different footswitches for clean/lead, effects and reverb/delay, so it does get a bit pricey. I brought back my Kustom Dual 30 RC to the store, picked up this baby and never looked back. I was simply blown away by the sound. Your search for the perfect solid state amp stops here ladies and gentlemen. This amp is the best in its class. Buy it, you will not regret it.

I'd been looking for an amp with a great jazz sound to compliment my jazz archtop, and this baby is the real deal. It sounded so good I didn't want to quit playing. The effects are natural sounding too. I bought this amp for professional and personal use. It's small and not too heavy, with more power than I'll ever need. For me it is perfect solution and will probably last the rest of my life.

Great sounding BLUES amp. If you want a good metal sound, get a stomp box. Effects adjustments allow you to adjust 'rate' and not mix level. Otherwise very nice. Chorus, Flanger, Phaser and delay are very good. Reverb is not so hot. Amp modeling is good (except for Metal, which is not crunchy enough imo). Be warned, you need to buy three F5U (for unlatched) pedals to control on/off fx, delay/reverb, channel. The pedals do not come with cords, those cost extra too. For a 60W it is VERY loud. I have not yet been able to experiment with this amp connected to an external cab. It has a line out for connection into a mixer. Forget it, Mic it instead.
