It features the most famous of all Tele finishes atop an alder body joined to the rock-solid bolt-on maple neck with maple fretboard and dot inlays. Also has a 25-1/2" scale, medium-jumbo frets, and 2 single-coil pickups.

The nut sucks, and the bridge needs 2 minutes of tweaking out of the box. Unless I received a Fender mis-labled as a Squire, this guitar is the best deal out there. The frets and neck aren't the best, and there’s no doubt you could find better pickups to replace the stock ones. There are a lot of nicer/better guitars on the market for a lot more money (I've owned like, 18-20 of them). You can't find a better deal. This is the best brand-new guitar under $200 and the best deal at any price that you can find. Seriously. Buy one even if you're Keith Richards. From the trademark twang, to looks, to playability, to feel, to just plain quality…it’s Tele all the way...
