Last year, I ordered over 200 Tudor Candy Apple Recorders for my 4th and 5th Graders. I wanted my students to have an affordable quality instrument. I didn't feet as if I sacrificed quality for affordability - or vice-versa - in choosing this model. I also enjoy the fact that student can choose their own colors. I have found that this model is more durable than other colored recorders and makes a well-tuned sound, especially in the mid-range...after all, that's the range we use most!
